We are a leading technology consulting firm seeking 2 Enterprise Azure Architects to join our team on an initial 3-month contract based in Johannesburg.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact Azure transformation initiative, with a strong focus on tenant-to-tenant migrations, identity architecture, and enterprise-scale Azure environments.

What you'll do:

• Lead and design enterprise Azure architecture solutions aligned to business and technical requirements
• Drive and deliver Azure tenant-to-tenant migration projects
• Architect and implement identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Design and enforce Azure governance frameworks, including management groups, subscriptions, policies, and landing zones
• Provide expertise across security, monitoring, and baseline controls
• Oversee Azure networking architecture, including DNS, firewalls, private endpoints, and integrations
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer
• Engage with stakeholders and provide clear architectural guidance and communication

Your Expertise:

• Senior-level experience in Azure Enterprise Architecture
• Proven track record delivering Azure tenant-to-tenant migrations
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Hands-on experience with:
  • App registrations & enterprise applications
  • Service principals & managed identities
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Conditional access policies
• Deep knowledge of:
  • Azure governance (management groups, subscriptions, policies, landing zones)
  • Azure security & monitoring practices
  • Azure networking (DNS, certificates, firewalls, private endpoints, integrations)
• Excellent documentation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
